How we protect your data

BankerPro is built to handle sensitive financial information carefully. Transaction descriptions and the raw text extracted from every statement you upload are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are written to our database, using a key that never leaves our server environment. We never ask for, store, or transmit full bank account numbers, card numbers, routing numbers, or Social Security numbers — our processing pipeline is explicitly instructed to discard anything beyond the last 4 digits of an account identifier.

What we store

• Your account details (name, email, hashed password — we never store your raw password).
• Encrypted statement text and encrypted transaction descriptions.
• Transaction metadata needed to build your dashboard: date, amount, category, and merchant name.
• AI-generated insights about your spending, tied to your account only.

How your data is used

Statement text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API solely to extract and categorize transactions and to generate your personalized insights. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Payments

Subscription billing is handled by PayPal, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card or PayPal account details — they are handled entirely by PayPal's secure checkout.

Your control

You can delete your uploaded statements and account at any time by contacting support.
